Review process

How a review is researched, written, checked and kept current, and the rules we follow so that readers can trust it.

Research

Each review starts from the vendor’s own material: product pages, documentation, pricing pages, security and trust pages, and published certifications. We record facts in one shared file so the same fact reads the same everywhere on the site.

Writing

We write for people choosing software for work: founders, CFOs, fund managers, deal teams and lawyers. We use plain words, give numbers where we have them and say what is missing as clearly as what is there. Where we cannot verify a claim from documentation, we turn it into a question for you to check in a trial or a demo.

Fact-checking

Before publishing, a second editor checks prices, certifications and feature claims against the source and the facts file. Legal and regulatory statements in articles are checked against primary sources, with the date of the check.

Independence

Commercial relationships do not change facts or formulas. Partners cannot buy a position. We do not publish user-review counts or star ratings from other platforms; the scores are our own.

Updates and corrections

We recheck facts monthly. Material corrections are made as soon as we confirm them; the page date shows the last update.
