Data rooms for private credit

Private credit funds now finance many buyouts and growth companies. Their diligence is narrower than equity diligence but deeper on cash flow, collateral and covenants.

Data room / Private credit and direct lending 01 Credit pack 02 Financial 03 Collateral 04 Legal 05 Ongoing reporting

A lender's room is often a separate view of the sponsor's or the company's main room: financials, the quality of earnings report, the model with downside cases, the security package and the legal documents. Lenders may join late and need fast access.

After closing, the same lenders receive compliance certificates and monthly reporting, so the room continues as a lender portal for the life of the loan.

What matters most: Lender groups need their own view, fast onboarding and a room that continues as a reporting portal.
